Great service, tasty food, good value
Lovely place to eat for dine in and takeaway. Ate in for the first time last month and it was delightful. The staff checked on us regularly and the food was delicious, especially the honey roast pork! Had takeaway from here for the first time tonight (Xmas eve) and they phoned me to tell me they have a large influx of orders so the time estimate is later than expected but once the food arrived it was hot and delicious!
A superb restaurant. The food was so fresh and tasty. Unfortunately for us, it was the Friday before Ipswich played Liverpool. About 15 ‘scousers’ came in and we couldn’t hear each other talk as they were so loud! Nothing to do with the restaurant.
We love going to East Ocean! The food is great and the staff is amazing. We tried the Set Meal for 2 on this visit and was surprised. There was no doubt on the quality and taste but surprised about the portion. It was more than enough for 2 people. Started with Sesame Prawn Toast, Smoked Chicken, Vegetarian Spring Rolls, Satay Chicken on Skewers. The main comes with rice & chow mein and we got to choose 3 mains we chose lemon chicken, duck in bean sauce and stir fried mix sea food. We were stuffed by the end of dinner but thought of ordering both the pineapple and banana fritters to take home and enjoy. They are still implementing safe and distanced setting and clean and sanitize the tables after every use. Could not recommend this place enough. And we will keep coming back here too!
Visited on 21.8.2021 to collect a take-away. Crispy beef, lemon chicken, sweet & sour chicken, egg fried rice and noodles. All excellent. Could see and taste the fresh ingredients. Very tasty and good value. Highly recommended
Lovely clean restaurant. We had a set meal of starters and a main meal.Food was served quickly. Prawn crackers were put on the table with sweet chilli sauce. Then we had a selection of starters. It was nice to try a selection of different foods. The main meal was lovely. I will definitely go back again
First visit here. We ordered the set meal for 3. It was yummy. We added in the crispy duck and it was delicious. Service was brilliant. Staff were happy and friendly. We had a lovely meal and will definitely be back. Wish it opened at 5pm as we went pre-theatre and had to dash off before our coffee because we were friends catching up!
We normally go to Mr Wings… we thought we would try here and it didn’t disappoint. The food was lovely, they do a set meal for 21.50 per person and you get the starters, mains etc and duck is an optional extra. Staff friendly. Reasonably priced too. The beef in black pepper is the best we’ve had!
